“IT IS A USELESS LIFE THAT IS NOT CONSECRATED TO A GREAT IDEAL.
IT IS LIKE A STONE WASTED ON THE FIELD WITHOUT BECOMING A PART OF ANY EDIFICE."
—DR. JOSE RIZAL
The Love of Country Global Ambassadors Program first began with several questions:
1. How can we reconnect Overseas Filipinos back to the Philippines?—Especially Filipinos who have already assimilated in the country they moved to, grew up in, or were born in?
2. How do we awaken Filipino pride and promote Filipino culture globally in order to inspire people to travel and invest in the Philippines?
3. How can we connect Filipinos together within their own communities and beyond borders?
4. And lastly, how can we provide life-changing trips to the Philippines and opportunities to Filipinos of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds and in doing so, transform and fuel the growth and progression of the future of the Philippines?
With the Love of Country Global Ambassadors Program, we believe that you will help solve these urgent issues facing the Philippines.
Our mission is to give every Filipino around the world the opportunity to visit their homeland and learn about their roots. Our ultimate mission is to ensure the future of the Filipino people and culture by strengthening Filipino identity and Filipino Global Communities especially with tightening immigration laws, aging populations, the volatility of geopolitics and global economics we are currently faced with around the World—all of which are issues that directly impacts the livelihood of millions of Filipinos who have a quality of life because of the money sent home from their loved ones working abroad. Even just a 1% decline in remittance or a 1% decline in Filipinos traveling home would be significantly consequential to macro and micro economics.
The Love of Country Global Ambassadors Program begins with a bold idea — to offer the gift of a life-changing, all expense paid trip to the Philippines to Filipinos all over the World — and in doing so, transform the Filipino future. The Love of Country Global Ambassadors Program aims to awaken Filipino identity and build a lasting bond with the motherland and people of the Philippines, and reinforce the sense of Filipino community and spirit worldwide.
We strongly believe that what we do today will shape where we are in one month, one year, and so on for building what we hope to accomplish for the Philippines and Filipino people. Although the Love of Country Ambassadors Program will have its first official leadership class in 2018, with each day, each year, and new class, we will always continue to improve our programs. The gift of the Love of Country trip is made possible thanks to the generous support of hundreds of people from around the world and valued sponsors and partners who believe in our mission to help push the Philippines and Filipinos to even greater heights.
